COLD WEATHER DOESN'T MEAN YOU CANT LOOK HOT!
This winter season the look is hot, hot, hot with styles that are glamorous, alluring and sexy. 'Tis the time for fur coats (ooohyeh..), knee high boots (mmmm!!!) , bold accessories (to die for), fingerless leather gloves (they're backkk), textured tights (sweet or vicious...you choose), knitted beanies (how many is too many?), chunky snood-style scarves (sexy and classy all in one piece) and strong shouldered blazers (I DIE!!!).
SO IT IS OUT WITH THE NEW AND IN WITH OLD
Yep....Gotta Love Vintage
I am talking those vintage pieces that have a modern feel and work with your wardrobe without making you look like your Nana! Clothes with a history need a hint of mystery... you know the kind that people question "Where did you get that?"
Right now I am all about being IN LOVE WITH FUR, FRINGE and FEATHERS.

DAY WEAR

Winter weather can be cold, dull and dark but I will
not let that reflect my style for this season.
My wardrobe is all about texture - so this season i am
totally in love with fur, velvet, knit, leather and lace.
Weather i choose a statement piece or team up weights, prints and textures i make it modern through the mix. I let my body shape as well as my personal taste dictate what I wear and I will only buy what i love, need and will use.
Mmmmmm what to wear?????
By day it definitely needs to reflect my lifestyle - casual but always chic.
Beg my pardon if you must, but I disagree with the idea that LESS IS MORE! Clearly exaggeration, flare and individuality is going to get you noticed and talked about more than simplicity and similarity. And, whoever said black was the "in" colour for this season must have been heavily sedated! Yes it is a wardrobe basic but you definitely wont see me wearing it alone or in large amounts this season.
Winter 2010 is more about colour and staying away from the demure and safe. Hot pink is one of my faves and is a guaranteed head turner. I am also loving plum, rudy red, burnt sienna, mustard, chocolate brown and gun metal grey.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR......
I am looking out for cheeky statement pieces to wear on my head, sexy ankle boots or animal print flats to team with outfits of classic design, and snuggly snood style scarves in bright colours to keep the winter blues away!
NIGHTLIFE

NEVER MIND WHO I AM BY DAY....
BY NIGHTFALL I TRANSFORM MY LOOK AND MY ATTITUDE
Being me can definitely mean playing someone else!!!!
So what's the point of buying gorgeous things if you are not going to wear them???? Keep warm and look hot I say! Coats, jackets, leggings, boots, figure hugging dresses and short short skirts. This is not the winter for jeans and sweaters.
Again....what to wear????
My seasonal affair with fur continues into the night. A coat that not only looks gorgeous but you could hibernate in! That has got to be a sensible addition to any girls wardrobe, right? Whether the coat is big and bold in colour or cropped and colour neutral, I keep it sleek and simple from the waist down and it is chic, chic, chic.
Alternatively short dresses or long tops that swing playfully over textured leggings and sky high healed boots makes flirting on a night out just oh so easy.
But if I feel the need to flaunt my edgy side I'll add a fringed belt, fingerless lace gloves & bold accessories that catch the eye.
This winter the sophisticated me will accessorize by playing to the audience or event - adding a stole to a classic cut of dress or drop dead drop earrings to dress up heavier richer fabrics around the face.
